Review: Everything’s Eventual: 14 Dark Tales

Everything's Eventual: 14 Dark Tales
Everything’s Eventual: 14 Dark Tales by Stephen King
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

As a huge Stephen King fan, I have to say that, perhaps, I like his short stories the best. King excels at character development and getting readers right down into the gritty worlds he creates. Everything’s Eventual offers 14 different worlds to explore, each more intriguing than the last. I was particularly delighted to discover the story, “The Little Sisters of Eluria,” which is a prequel to The Gunslinger and gives a bit more about King’s magnum opus character, Roland. This is a great read. If you don’t read short stories, change your ways. And Everything’s Eventual is a great place to start.
