Review: Eric

Eric by Terry Pratchett
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

It’s hard to say which of Terry Pratchett’s books are the good ones because they are all good. Eric, however, made me laugh out loud more than may of the others in this delightful series. In this novel, Pratchett uses his wit and handle on the mythology of various persuasions to stitch together the story of a young man named Eric who summons the wrong “demon” from hell to grant him three wishes. The powerless entity from hell and Eric get into a series of scrapes in which they must rely on each other to escape.

If you are a Pratchett fan, don’t miss this one. If you have never read Pratchett, this novel might be a great entry point.
